Word of Encouragement
Hi friends,
I wanted to encourage you all with some Bible verses that have been blessing me recently. May they be a blessing to you all as well!
Isa 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
You may encounter tough days when you are tired and don’t “feel like” reading God’s Word. Those are the moments you really need to reach for your Bible (rather than your phone)! Waiting on the Lord and meditating on His Word truly gives us strength. May you all experience this renewal in Him!
Psa 145:2 Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
I had a really tough day this week and started reciting Psalm 145 as I was walking home. I recited verse 1: “I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.” I prayed, Yes, Lord, I will bless and praise You forever, my whole life.
Then, I came to verse 2, “Every day I will bless You…” This verse really made me think! Wow, that’s what praising God forever really means! It’s not just praising Him every year or month or week of your life, it means praising God every day. Lord, today has been a super challenging day, and I don’t understand why. Please, help me to have a heart full of praise to You every day… even today.
Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Psa 19:11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.
I love this passage as it shows how important and amazing God’s Word is! It converts the soul, makes wise the simple, gives us joy and wisdom, and endures forever. Many times, I have been in a difficult situation and a verse from the Bible comes to mind and gives me the wisdom or comfort that I need at that moment (like for Psalm 145:2 above!) I pray that God’s Word continues to work in each of your lives and gives you what exactly you personally need for what you are going through.
Blessings,
Grace C
